Our acute care team specializes in stabilizing the patient and preparing them for transfer to a larger hospital in a city nearby to receive non-surgical or surgical treatments for their heart condition.
Once patients return to Torrington, they may continue to see one of the hospitals’ visiting cardiologists for follow-up care including medication management, diet and exercise instruction and testing if necessary.
