About Us

Platte County Memorial Hospital and Nursing Home opened in 1955 providing medical excellence to the residents of Platte County. 

We are a 25-bed critical access facility with a 43-bed nursing home. Together, we provide diagnostic, therapeutic, palliative and preventive care to meet patients’ physical, emotional and spiritual needs.

Platte County offers acute-care services, cardiopulmonary care, inpatient and ambulatory surgery, laboratory services, radiology, CAT scan and mammography as well as an Emergency department.

The hospital also offers an intelligent OB program, a computerized system designed to reduce the chances of complications during labor and delivery.

Banner Platte County employs 156 employees and two emergency-department physicians.
