Platte County holds birthing classes for expectant parents three times per year in January, June and September.
Classes are free and held in the large conference room in the basement of the hospital.
Classes are two hours long and run for four consecutive weeks.
These classes teach parents-to-be what to expect during the pregnancy and birthing processes and each class offers various relaxation techniques to help make labor as comfortable as it can be.
The classes are taught by our excellent, knowledgeable and caring obstetrics staff.
For more information, schedules or to register call Darla Patterson, RN at Platte County Memorial Hospital at 322-6401 ext. 2260 and leave your name, telephone number and due date.
