Nurses are on duty 24-hours a day to provide personalized nursing care. Your nurse is your advocate and will help you obtain information on your condition and care. Your nurse will provide care during your stay and help with your discharge planning.
Recognizing that every person is a spiritual being, we provide Chaplaincy Services to assist in the healing process by administering to the spiritual needs and emotional needs of hospitalized patients and their families. A chaplain can be reached by calling ext. 208, or by contacting your nurse
Individual counseling with a qualified social worker is available to patients through the Social Services Department. The Social Worker can answer questions and explain options open to patients and/or families. Many situations occur in hospitals today that raise ethical questions. The Social Services Staff will help families understand their options. Your nurse can help you contact the Social Worker, or you can contact the Social Services Office by calling ext. 2273.
