Cancer Diagnosis
Cancer treatment begins with an accurate diagnosis, and Platte County Memorial Hospital uses state-of-the-art medical programs and technologies to identify and stage cancers.
The hospital participates in the Wyoming Cancer Surveillance Program, a confidential information registry maintained by the Wyoming Department of Health that logs demographic and treatment-related data on all new cancer patients, to increase our effectiveness and help better understand the cancer care process.
Platte County’s cancer diagnosis resources include:
- Colorectal Screening – Colonoscopy, Endoscopy and Gastroscopy
- Computerized Tomography (CT)
- Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI)
- Ultrasound
