Ashlyn Kiser was born on Dec. 28, 2010, surprising her parents who didn’t expect her until after the New Year.

Another surprise for parents, JW and Stacey Kiser, was the news that their new baby girl was being honored as the last baby born in 2010 at Washakie Medical Center.

H & R Block representative,John Preis coordinated with Connie Hoffman, public relations specialist and Teresa Harrington, Health Information technician at Washakie Medical Center to celebrate the last baby born in 2010.

Besides the diaper bag given by H & R block and pink gift set from Washakie Medical Center, the best news is because Ashlyn arrived in 2010, her parents were eligible for a $1,000 child IRS tax credit.

H & R Block’s program to celebrate the last baby born every year is designed to help new parents receive tax tips, especially about child deductions.  This is the second year Washakie Medical Center has participated in the celebration.
