Billing questions
Autumn Swander, senior representativePatient Financial Services at Washakie Medical Center.
Question: If I have a question about my hospital billing statement, who do I call?
Answer: We encourage you to call us with any question or concern you may have at 307-347-3221 or stop by our patient financial services/registration office located just inside the main hospital entrance.
We can accept and process payments, answer questions, verify pre-certifications, print itemized statements and assist you in contacting our offices in Phoenix and Greeley.
If you anticipate a hardship in paying your bill, we can also assist you in making payment arrangements. We have information about applying for our basic and enhanced financial assistance programs for both uninsured and insured patients. For details on financial assistance programs, you can call us directly in the billing office at 307-347-3221.
Washakie Medical Center is part of Banner Health, one of the largest, nonprofit health care systems in the country. Therefore, bills for your hospital services come to you from Phoenix, Ariz., and bills for your clinic services come from Greeley, Colo. Although located on the same campus, hospital services (inpatient stays, lab and radiology procedures) and clinic visits are billed separately. This is why you may receive two bills if you have lab work or a radiology service during your clinic visit.
