Often, heart care patients enter the hospital through the Emergency room because they experience chest pain or other symptoms related to heart disease. Our highly skilled and compassionate team specializes in using quality indicators and diagnostics to stabilize the patient. If necessary, the patient is referred or transferred to a larger hospital to receive further care for their heart condition.
Once patients return to Worland, their cardiologist may recommend cardiac rehab at Washakie and other follow-up care including medication management, diet and exercise instruction and testing.
