Rehabilitation Services at Washakie Medical Center

Washakie Medical Center offers adult and pediatric rehabilitative care on both an inpatient and outpatient basis.

Our caring and highly skilled rehab professionals offer a broad array of services.  Banner First Choice Rehabilitation, located off campus at 120 S.17th St., provides physical therapy services with the same high standard of skill and caring as our hospital location.

Our hospital rehabilitation department offers;

• Physical therapy   
• Pulmonary rehabilitation
• High school sports medicine program
• Wellness program
• Wound care

Our rehabilitation program's goal is help patients patient’s reach their highest level of function as quickly and safely as possible.

Patients can feel confident about their treatment knowing all Washakie Medical Center’s therapists are experienced and have completed master or doctoral degrees. Our therapy assistants have also completed at least a two-year program. We also have a nationally certified wound specialist. 

Our rehabilitation team works closely with your physician, case managers and numerous support staff to devise and implement a rehabilitation program tailored to each patient's specific needs.

Additionally, Washakie Medical Center offers a Wellness Center and High School Sports Medicine Program to provide our community with education and resources to lead healthy lives.
