Susan Edwards  

Susan Edwards joined Banner in June 2002 as president of Banner’s Arizona Region. Prior to joining Banner, she was an executive with St. John's Health System in Detroit where she served as both executive vice president and chief operating officer for the system and interim president and chief executive officer of St. John's Hospital, a 600-plus bed tertiary hospital. Prior to joining St. John's Health System, she held health care leadership roles in Pennsylvania, Michigan and Ohio.

She holds a bachelor's degree in biology from Emory and Henry College, a master of health administration degree from Duke University, and a law degree from Wayne State University.
