An "education first" philosophy has been established and committed to by the voluntary faculty. As such, all residents are able to attend the comprehensive basic science, anatomy, clinical skills and Grand Rounds morning conferences. Additionally each service will conduct rotation specific conferences.

We look forward to utilizing the 3000 square foot state-of-the-art Banner Good Samaritan Medical Center Simulation Center opening in September 2006. Through a series of didactic conferences and "hands-on" skill stations, you will be able to improve your surgical dexterity and depth perception in a simulation lab environment prior to participating in the more advanced surgical cases.
