Learning Experiences

Our ASHP-accredited PGY-1 Pharmacy residency will provide a structured educational experience while allowing flexibility to meet resident's needs.

Patient Care Learning Experiences

Learning experiences are divided into short-term rotations (four to six weeks) and longitutidinal rotations.

As part of their educational experience, residents develop drug- use evaluations and formulary monographs.

To enrich their communications skills, formal presentations such as Grand Rounds and Phoenix area Resident Debate presentations are required.

Informal presentations such as inservices to nursing and pharmacy will be are given throughout the year.  A residency project is also required.
