Accreditations & Certifications

• Designated NICHE hospital through the Hartford Institute for Geriatric Nursing at New York University College of Nursing
• The NICHE (Nurses Improving Care for Health System Elders) designation means that Banner Boswell has met the criteria for providing optimal care to the geriatric population
• Joint Commission accredited hospital and became a nationally certified Joint Commission Primary Stroke Center in 2010
• Designated Community Hospital Comprehensive Cancer Program by the American College of Surgeons Commission on Cancer since 1987
• Banner Boswell’s Medical Imaging department holds the American College of Radiology Accreditation for CT, MRI, Ultrasound, Mammography, Nuclear Medicine and PET.
