Residency Program details

 

The overall purpose of the Banner Desert Medical Center/Cardon Children’s Medical Center PGY-1 Pharmacy Residency Program is to develop competent clinicians prepared for direct acute patient care positions with adjunct faculty responsibilities and/or additional post graduate pharmacy training in a specialized practice area.

Our PGY-1 Pharmacy residency is currently in Pre-Candidate status with ASHP. This comprehensive program is designed to provide training experiences in the fundamentals of pharmacy practice. An individualized training plan, based upon the resident’s entrance level of knowledge, skills and interests, is developed and adjusted throughout the year to meet resident's needs.

Annual Stipend
