Educational Innovations Project
The Residency Review Committee for Internal Medicine selected Banner Good Samaritan/Phoenix VA Internal Medicine Program as one of 17 programs from across the country as part of the Educational Innovations Project (EIP) in 2005.
Programs in this project were chosen based on their commitment to excellence, demonstrated by strong accreditation track records. The goal of this project is to facilitate competency-based education and outcomes assessment in those programs well-suited and ready for innovation.
Our projects involves developing innovative ways to intertwine safe, quality patient care with resident education and assessment. This “Best in Class” distinction affords us up to a 10-year accreditation cycle, not to mention the opportunity for creative collaboration!
