Curriculum

Training includes 48 months of didactic and clinical training in all phases of oral and maxillofacial surgery. The didactic component of the program is closely integrated with the clinical experiences provided with supplemental conferences, seminars, lectures and training at Banner Good Samaritan's Simulation Education and Training (SimET) Center.

PGY-1:
Nine months - OMFS
Two months - Internal Medicine
One month - Inpatient Pediatrics

PGY-2:
Four months - General Anesthesia
Four months - General Surgery
Three months - OMFS
One month - ENT/Plastics

PGY-3:
Nine months - OMFS
Two months - Emergency/Trauma/ICU
One month - Neurosurgery

PGY-4:
12 months - OMFS
