Banner Good Samaritan OMFS Residency Program
Welcome to the Banner Good Samaritan Medical Center Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery program.
The Division of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery operates within the Department of Surgery and is responsible for the Banner Good Samaritan Medical Center residency program in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, as well as in providing comprehensive oral and maxillofacial surgical care in both the hospital and outpatient clinical setting.
Banner Good Samaritan is a tertiary care referral center and has consistently been ranked as one of the top hospitals in Arizona by U.S. News and World Report.
Our surgeons performed over 600 major operating cases in 2013 and are responsible for providing the majority of facial trauma care at our busy level I trauma center.
Additionally, our specialists are actively involved in the evaluation and management of:
- Head and neck infections
- Maxillofacial pathology and reconstruction
- Facial skeleton congenital and traumatic abnormalities
- Obstructive sleep apnea
- Temporomandibular joint (TMJ) dysfunction and facial pain
- Routine and third molar dental extractions
- Placement of dental implants
