Program Director:
Alex C. McLaren, MD, serves as the program director for the Banner Orthopedic Residency. After graduating from Queen's University  School of Medicine, Kingston, Ontario, Canada in 1977, Dr. McLaren completed an orthopedic residency at the University of Western Ontario in 1982 and a fellowship at the University of Southern California in 1983. Dr  McLaren is first and foremost an orthopedic educator whose career has included teaching, research and administration of educational programs. His clinical interests include orthopedic infections, revision arthroplasty and complex musculoskeletal trauma.

Faculty:
