Psychiatry Residency Program Selection & Processes

 

Applicant Evaluation and Selection

Our Residency Education Committee, comprised of the Program Director, numerous faculty and resident representatives, oversees the evaluation and selection of applicants.

Selected applicants are invited to interview on one of several formal interview days.  The interview agenda will include meeting with the Program Director, Associate Program Director, a tour, personal interviews with faculty members, and lunch with residents.

Applications are reviewed by the Program Director and Selection Committee.

The Selection Committee makes the final decisions as to which applicants will be offered positions.

Due to the large amount of applications received, we are unable to contact everyone who has not been selected by the committee.  You will not be contacted, unless you have been selected for an interview.
