How to Apply
How to Apply
NCFM participates in the Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS) application process on the Internet. Your dean's office at your school will have information on how to apply to our program through this system.
- Only applications received through ERAS will be considered.
- Positions in the first-year class are filled each year through the National Resident Matching Program (NRMP). We adhere strictly to NRMP rules.
- There are separate match slots designated for each available Alternative Training Track (Rural Training Track , Sunrise Community Health Center Track and Hospitalist Track). If you are interested in any of these tracks, one application to the core program at Greeley will suffice, but you must indicate your interest in any Alternative Training Track (ATT) site on the program tracks section in the ERAS application.
Alternative Training Track (ATT)
Each ATT carries a separate match number. Therefore, NCFM has four numbers: one for positions in the core program, and one each for the Rural Training Track (RTT) at Wray, Sunrise Community Health Center Track at Sunrise Monfort Family Clinic and the Hospitalist Track. You may apply to, interview for, and rank one, two or all four tracks if selected.
Please include in the tracks section of ERAS, the tracks that you wish to apply for and be sure to express an interest in the alternative training tracks when calling to schedule your interview. If you would like more information, please call David Smith, MD, Director of Off-Campus Training, at (800) 336-6236.
