Audio: “Some of the changes that we would be asking about are: Has there been a loss of ability to function at work, are there problems navigating while driving or driving safely, managing the checkbook, paying the bills, shopping, cooking? Sometimes simply having trouble figuring out the new car is a clue. If we switch away from function and talk about change in temperament, sometimes people don’t realize that their memory may be slipping and the most obvious thing is they seem crankier, the fuse is shorter, or more down in the dumps or more apprehensive than they used to be. So those would be some of the kinds of clues we would look for either in daily functioning or changes in emotions or temperament.”
