Christine Belden, PsyD
Christine Belden, PsyD, is the Director of Neuropsychology for the Banner Sun Health Research Institute.
Dr. Belden received her bachelor’s degree in cultural anthropology from the University of Oregon. She received her doctorate in clinical psychology from Argosy University/Arizona School of Professional Psychology. She completed a 2-year post-doctoral fellowship in neuropsychology at the Banner Sun Health Research Institute.
Dr. Belden oversees all aspects of clinical and research activities within BSHRI that involve measures of neuropsychological function. To this end, she conducts outpatient neuropsychological evaluations for BSHRI neurologist to aid in diagnosis of cognitive decline associated with abnormal aging and Parkinson’s disease. Further, she supervises and administers measures of cognitive function in the Banner Sun Health Research Institute’s Brain and Whole Body Donation program and in myriad Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s Disease clinical trials.
Dr. Belden is proud and fortunate to work in a setting that allows her to utilize clinical acumen to aid in diagnosis and optimize and extend independence, while also contributing to promising research to better detect and treat – and one day – cure Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s disease.
