Young Adult Intensive Outpatient --Chemical Dependency Program

woman

Our Intensive Outpatient Young Adult Chemical Dependency Program, one of the most well established programs in metro Phoenix, helps young adults between the ages of 18 to 25 and their families.

Group therapy provides education on addiction as a disease; craving-managment skills; relapse prevention and 12-step education.

In the 28-session program, we teach the skills and provide the tools necessary for lifelong recovery. Random urine drug screens and breathalyzers are also provided.

Family Involvement
Included in the cost of the program is our separate, adult family group, meeting weekly with our family therapist. Alcoholism and other drug addictions are family illnesses. Families can heal together with proper guidance. Unrealistic expectations of each other can be a challenge in recovery. Sometimes basic communication skills and having an accurate picture of what recovery entails can ease the most troubled situations. We also encourage family members to attend scheduled group sessions with the loved one.

Relapse Prevention
Upon graduation from Intensive Outpatient program, we provide, at no charge, continuing support in our weekly Prevention Group.

Who is the therapist?
All therapists are state licensed, with backgorund and experience making them qualified to run a recovery program. The primary goal is to ''get into the solution'' which includes becoming fully functional in AA (Alcoholics Anonymous) NA (Narcotics Anonymous) and CA (Cocaine Anonymous).

Program Costs
Our Intensive Outpatient program is covered by most insurance plans. Please contact your carrier or we will be happy to assist you with this.
