Chemotherapy is a form of cancer treatment using drugs to destroy cancer cells. Chemotherapy drugs work by destroying cancer cells and hindering their ability to grow and multiply. Chemotherapy can also harm healthy, fast growing cells. These cells usually repair themselves after chemotherapy treatments stop.
