Salsa Pizza

 
  • 1 10-inch pizza dough
  • ½ cup shredded reduced-fat cheese
  • 3 plum tomatoes chopped
  • 1 teaspoon minced garlic
  • 2 tablespoon chopped fresh cilantro
  • 1 scallion thinly sliced
  • 1 tablespoon chopped chili pepper
  1. Preheat oven to 400°.
  2. Place the pizza dough on a baking sheet, cover with cheese and bake in the oven for 10 minutes or until the cheese is melted.
  3. Remove from the oven.
  4. Combine the tomatoes, garlic, cilantro, onion and chili pepper.
  5. Spread over the melted cheese.
  6. Cut in 4 and serve.

This pizza goes well with a large tossed salad.

Makes 4 servings. Serving size: 1 slice or 6.5 oz.
