Medicare Open Enrollment

For Medicare beneficiaries, the open enrollment for 2012 is from Oct. 15 until Dec. 7.

During this time, people with Medicare can make unrestricted changes to their coverage options.

Consumer advocates encourage people on Medicare to “review your options.” during this time of the year. Even if you are happy with your current coverage, you should conduct a review because plans change their costs and benefits every year.
