Congratulations you're going to have a baby!

Even if you've given birth before, chances of having a second pregnancy and birth experience just like the first are very rare. But two things are common to all healthy pregnancies and births:
-
The way you care for yourself during your pregnancy will affect your baby and your birth experience.
-
Knowing what is "normal" can both reduce your fear and help you act quickly should a problem arise.
-
You have a new life to plan for, and we have a good deal of information to share that we hope will make your planning easier.
Read this book before you have your baby. The information will help you make decisions about the birthing process and how you'll care for your baby and yourself following birth.

Take this book with you to your doctor appointments, your childbirth classes and to the hospital when you go into labor.
Fill out the forms in the front pocket and send them to the hospital where you plan to give birth. Registering ahead of time will save precious time when you are in labor.
Prepared Childbirth Class can help you learn what you can do to make labor and birthing as safe and comfortable as possible. See the Resources section for a complete list of all the prenatal classes we offer. Classes fill quickly, so register soon!
