R2's Computer Aided Detection (CAD) system, the ImageChecker, assists radiologists by digitizing and analyzing mammograms for suspicious regions that may be indicative of cancer.

For every 100,000 cancers currently detected by screening mammography, an additional 20,500 breast cancers could be detected by using the ImageChecker.

Over one million women have had their mammograms screened using the ImageChecker. The ImageChecker is the only FDA approved CAD system for screening mammography.
