The Banner Alzheimer's Institute in Phoenix provides a three-pronged approach to Alzheimer's: diagnosis and treatment for the patient, support for the family and research to slow or stop the disease expected to affect more than 10 million Baby Boomers in their lifetime.
Banner's Sun Health Research Institute, in Sun City, which has performed world-renowned research in Alzheimer's, is studying how Alzheimer’s can be prevented and for those who develop symptoms, how the progression of the disease can be slowed.
