He recently told friends and family he’d prefer to collect donations of toys instead of receiving gifts for himself, and he brought dozens of them to Cardon Children’s Medical Center on Friday.

(April 1, 2015) – As the flu and cold season winds down, Banner Health, one of Arizona’s largest health care providers has lifted visitor restrictions at all of its facilities in the Valley. Restrictions for the 2014-2015 cold and flu season were implemented last Oct. 1; a little earlier than expected because of the outbreak of Enterovirus D68 across the nation.

MESA, Ariz. - Cheeriodicals, with the help of more than 1,300 employees from Thermo Fisher Scientific, recently brought cheer in the form of 280 big green boxes to patients at Cardon Children’s Medical Center. Cheeriodicals are "big green boxes of cheer" made up, in this case, of age-appropriate magazines and activity books, room decorations, puzzles, stickers and games for the children to enjoy.

Talented young musicians and staff were able to showcase their melodius skills during this program, some using musical insturments that were generously donated by Blue Star Connection.
