Baby overcomes abdominal birth defect
When Buckeye mom Kayla Perry found out that the baby she was carrying had a condition called gastroschisis—a birth defect where the intestines come through the abdominal wall to the outside the baby’s body—she turned to the Banner Children’s experts at Banner Thunderbird Medical Center to manage her high-risk pregnancy.
