There are few things more stressful than taking your child to the Emergency Room (ER). Banner Health's pediatric-prepared ERs provide 24/7 specialized emergency medical treatment for children.
We know that children have special needs and are not just miniature adults. Our health care providers, nurses and support staff are prepared to treat your child for everything from minor emergencies such as fevers, cuts and sprains to life-threatening injuries.

In an emergency, kids need the right care fast. The Banner Children's pediatric-prepared ERs are ready to meet the needs of children.
It’s helpful to understand what takes place when visiting the ER.
The Arizona Chapter of the American Academy of Pediatrics (AzAAP) has certified nine Banner Children's locations through its Pediatric-Prepared Emergency Care, a voluntary program recognizing hospitals that have demonstrated their ability to stabilize and/or manage pediatric medical emergencies.
The following two locations have achieved "Prepared Advanced Care," the highest level of certification awarded through this AzAAP program:
