Nutrition, Fitness and Weight
Banner Health is dedicated to helping women live a healthier life, with a focus on fitness and good nutrition.
Physical activity can aid in weight loss and increases cardiovascular fitness. You can reduce your risk for diabetes and hypertension through weight loss and management, and an individual fitness program.
Nutritional Counseling
Our certified, registered dietitians are available at many Banner Health facilities to provide individualized counseling to women.
They also provide nutritional counseling for conditions such as diabetes, cancer and high blood pressure. Some offer weight-management programs with nutrition, exercise and behavior changes.
Our Physician Referral service can recommend Banner Health physicians who specialize in nutrition. Please call 1-800-230-CARE (2273), press option #1, Monday - Friday, between 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.
