Are you caring for a person with a memory disorder such as Alzheimer's disease? Feeling unprepared and overwhelmed? We can help!
Banner Alzheimer's Institute offers a six-hour class that will help with your caregiving role. Our classes are located throughout metropolitan Phoenix during the year. Come network and share ideas with other care partners.
You will learn about:
- The progression of dementia, along with current and future options.
- Strategies to improve communication and avoid behavioral upsets.
- Resources to help you meet the ever-changing needs of your loved one.
- Ways to improve caregiver health.
Fee is $50 and includes materials, continental breakfast and lunch
