Banner Children's Specialists

Our Pediatric Surgery specialists are board-certified pediatric surgeons who provide a wide array of pediatric surgical services for children ranging from the premature newborns to 18-year-old adolescents. Our highly trained surgeons perform procedures that include the entire spectrum of laparoscopic, thorascopic, and open surgeries in the cervical, thoracic, and abdominal regions. These procedures address diseases of the respiratory, cardiovascular, digestive, biliary, genitourinary, and dermatologic systems.

We have separated conjoined twins, participated in military air evacuations of critically ill children in combat and civilian emergencies, and then cared for those injured children. Board-certified physician assistants help in the office, hospital, and the operating room to care for the pediatric surgical patients.

Our pediatric surgical care is concentrated at Cardon Children's Medical Center in the East Valley and Banner Thunderbird Medical Center in the Northwest Valley. Though we have deliberately created a lighthearted atmosphere so you and your child will feel more relaxed and comfortable, our surgical efforts and skills are finely honed and intensely focused on your child’s speedy recovery.
