In practice since 1979, Dr. Crothers is a graduate of Vanderbilt Medical School. He completed his residency in general surgery at Maricopa County Medical Center and an orthopedic residency at the Phoenix Orthopaedic Residency Program. His extensive postgraduate training includes a fellowship in hand surgery at St. Luke’s Medical Center in Phoenix and a fellowship in children’s reconstructive surgery and scoliosis at the Rancho Los Amigos National Rehabilitation Center in Downey, Calif. He currently specializes in general orthopedics and sports medicine.
Despite his wealth of experience, Dr. Crothers’s care philosophy is simple: he is dedicated to educating you about all your treatment options and then working with you to resolve your condition together.
Dr. Crothers has served on the Arizona Medical Association board of directors since 1998. In addition, he has served as a medical officer in the U.S. Navy.
