Health Fair Panel
Includes screening of your total cholesterol, HDL, LDL, triglycerides, risk ratio, iron, thyroid, and glucose, along with several heart, liver, kidney and muscle enzymes.
Prostate Specific Antigen
Recommended for men 40 years of age and older. PSA is a protein that the male prostate gland produces. Elevated levels may be seen in men with prostate cancer or in benign prostate enlargement.
Complete Blood Count
Includes your red and white blood cell count, platelet, hematocrit levels and is an overall screening for infection and anemia.
Measures total cholesterol, high density lipoprotein, low density lipoprotein and triglycerides, to assess risk of cardiovascular disease.
Hemoglobin A1C (for known diabetics)
This is used to monitor glucose control over time for those with diabetes. The goal is to keep blood glucose levels as close to normal as possible.
TSH (Thyroid Stimulating Hormone)
Thyroid Stimulating Hormone controls thyroid gland function.
Homocysteine is a test that can be helpful in assessing the risk of heart attack, stroke and dementia. It can also be used to determine Vitamin B12 deficiency and may be elevated in diseases of the kidneys, thyroid, bowel or alcoholism.
C- Reactive Protein
High sensitivity C-reactive protein is a test that can be helpful in assessing the risk of heart attack and stroke. This sensitive test measures the presence of inflammation in the body.
Ferritin is a protein in the body that binds to iron. The amount of ferritin in the blood can show how much iron is stored in the body.
