I went to the emergency room with abdominal pain. I was given medication upon arriving to the hospital and was kept comfortable.
I was admitted with intestation, which I am told is extremely rare in adults. I was given every test possible to find out the extent of my problem.
During my five days in the hospital I was treated with respect but more important I was treated with sensitivity to my fear. I never felt alone in the hospital as there was always someone to smile with me during a very frightening time.
I can not express how much I love the hospital, doctors, nurses, volunteers and everyone that I came into contact with during my stay.
