While in Phoenix house sitting for my parents I fell off a ladder trying to fix their a/c. I found myself in excruciating pain, even breathing. I went to "Good Sam" (Banner Good Samaritan Medical Center) to make sure everything was ok.
The beginning of my visit was superior as the admissions clerk was outstanding; she showed such compassion to me in our brief interaction.
Throughout my visit I met a great team of professional, courteous and compassionate individuals.
I must say though the end was the highlight of my visit to the Emergency department. I nurse (I wish I had her name so I could personally recognize her) along with the doctor gave me a complete run down of what was happening and what I need to do to feel better.
The nurse in particular held my hand as she went over my discharge and displayed such genuine compassion for my well being. Heck, even being 30 years old it was nice to feel like it was mom there holding my hand as I went through this process alone.
