I was seen at Banner Estrella Medical Center for chest pain (of which I had experienced in the past several years back in my home state of New York), but no diagnosis had been reached. Again, in August 2007, I developed acute chest pain which brought me to Banner Estrella Medical Center’s emergency department.

I received excellent care by Dr Porter, Dr Wilson, Dr Kline and all the ancillary staff including Licensed practical nurses, RN's and techs. They were professional, efficient and extremely caring and compassionate. My stay on the second floor could not have been better,- everyone was very patient focused and delivered excellent care.

My recovery was smooth and uneventful. I did the cardiac rehab program for six weeks , which was the best gift I could have given myself. It helped redirect me into a more positive lifestyle with multiple behavior modifications.

In November I traveled back to Pennsylvania to see my son graduate college. I can't begin to express the gratitude I feel towards BannerEstrella Medical Center staff for saving my life. Since I'm only 49 and my wife 42, my son 21, I'm not quite ready to call it quits just yet. I'm one grateful patient who has been given a second chance.
