Dr. Klueppelberg earned a doctorate in experimental pathology and a medical degree at the University of Cologne, Faculty of Medicine in Germany.
He then completed an internal medicine residency and a fellowship in hematology/oncology at State University of New York, Downstate Medical Center.
Dr. Klueppelberg is board certified in internal medicine and medical oncology and believes that the edge in cancer care comes from good teamwork.
