Dr. Callister graduated from the Duke University School of Medicine in Durham, N.C. He then completed an internship at the Mayo School of Graduate Medical Education in Scottsdale, Ariz. and residency at the University of Texas/MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Texas.

Board certified in radiation oncology, Dr. Callister has a special interest in cancers of the gastrointestinal tract, head and neck.
