Profile:

Dr. Latteier is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon specializing in hip and knee joint replacement and revision joint replacement surgery. He is experienced in less invasive techniques including partial knee and anterior hip replacements. He also specializes in treating patients who are experiencing problems with previous joint replacements. He believes in working with his patients to help them find the best possible options to meet their lifestyle and desired level of function.

A graduate of the University of Southern California’s Keck School of Medicine in Los Angeles, Dr. Latteier completed his internship and residency at Wayne State University and the Detroit Medical Center. After residency he served three years as an Orthopaedic Surgeon in the Air Force, deploying to Afghanistan during that time. After his military service he spent an additional year of training in joint replacement surgery, completing a Joint Replacement Fellowship with Joint Implant Surgeons in Columbus, Ohio. Dr. Latteier is a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and a member Society of Military Orthopaedic Surgeons.

He is a published researcher with several credits in orthopedic surgery journals and presentations during orthopedic surgeons annual meetings.

When I’m not working, I enjoy spending time with my wife and three kids, as well as cycling, swimming and playing the guitar.
