Quentin P. Smith, Jr.
Quentin P. Smith, Jr., is president of Cadre Business Advisors, LLC (Cadre), a professional management-consulting firm with an emphasis on strategic planning, business performance improvement, and crisis management.
He has more than 30 years experience in providing publicly and privately held businesses and governmental agencies with professional business services, developing operating growth strategies, and resolving important management issues. His recent assignments have included working with entrepreneurs as well as large, mature companies in which he typically assumes the role of chairman of the board or interim Chief Executive Officer. In those capacities, Smith takes on the responsibility for corporate governance, capital formation, setting the company’s operating strategy, and guiding it to profitability. He has worked with organizations that range from start-ups to $1+ billion publicly traded companies.
Smith received his bachelor’s degree in industrial management and computer science from the Krannert School of Business at Purdue University and his master’s degree in business administration from Pepperdine University.
His other board service has included/includes Arizona Public Service Company, Rodel, Inc., iCrossing, the Arizona MultiBank, Greater Phoenix Leadership, and the Morrison Institute for Public Policy at Arizona State University.
