Event offers women chance to talk secret topics


North Colorado Medical Center Spirit of Women event features local gynecologist, garden center

GREELEY, Colo. (May 30, 2013) – North Colorado Medical Center Spirit of Women invites you to enjoy some quiet time at Eaton Grove Nursery and have the chance to talk about issues women frequently just don’t get to or won’t discuss with their gynecologist.

The NCMC Spirit of Women presents “Sharing Secrets in the Garden” featuring Susan Carter, MD, a Banner Health gynecologist. The event is 5 p.m.-8:30 p.m., Thursday, June 6 at Eaton Grove Nursery, 35901 WCR 51 in Eaton. It is free for Spirit members and $10 for non-members.

The schedule for the evening is:

  • 5 p.m.-6 p.m. – Shop in the nursery, visit exhibits, enjoy appetizers and drinks, make purchases
  • 6:15 p.m.-6:30 p.m. – Hear Ken Olson’s discussion about growing grapevines in Colorado and view a demonstration on how to properly prune them
  • 6 p.m.-8 p.m. – Hear presentations from Dr. Carter and, Pat Haywood, Colorado State University Plant Select executive director
