New human resources professional joins hospital
OGALLALA, NE (Nov. 4, 2013) – Ogallala Community Hospital welcomes Laurie Sinner as Chief Human Resources Officer for the facility.
Sinner had been serving as the Director of Human Resources for Community Hospital in Grand Junction, CO, for the past five years. She joined OCH on Oct. 21, 2013.
She has been a human resource professional for the past 35 years with 30 years of experience in healthcare. She has worked for different healthcare facilities and served on the leadership teams of three healthcare companies. Sinner has experience as a generalist as well as corporate leadership.
She is a native of Overland Park, KS, and a graduate of Emporia State University. Her husband is a native of Scottsbluff and his family still resides in the area.
As the Chief Human Resource Officer at OCH, Sinner provides leadership in employee relations, compensation, benefits, training and employment. She said the enthusiasm of the leadership team, focus on quality and service to the patients and the region were the main reasons why she wanted to join the leadership team at OCH.
Sinner is married and has two grown sons, a daughter-in-law and two young granddaughters. In her spare time, she enjoys hiking, camping, music and movies.
