New nursing leader joins Ogallala hospital
OGALLALA, NE (May 9, 2014) – Ogallala Community Hospital has named Aileen Chandler, RN, MSN, MBA, the hospital’s new chief nursing officer.
Chandler became interim chief nursing officer earlier this year and has accepted the position on a permanent basis. Originally from England, Chandler has worked for Banner Health for nine years, most of those years in leadership roles. Prior to accepting the CNO role, she was the nursing director for Medical/Surgical Services and Dialysis.

She understands how to leverage the benefits and resources within Banner to advance our patient care practices in our community hospital. Chandler earned a bachelor’s of arts degree in English and a bachelor’s of science degree in nursing from Arizona State University. She received her master of science in nursing and master of business administration from the University of Phoenix. She has worked as a nurse for more than 17 years with the majority of her work in critical care nursing.
She is the mother of six children and has many grandchildren living across the country.
