It's a Girl Thing: Puberty Survival for Tweens and Moms, Too
Have a daughter between the ages of 9 and 12 years old? Time to talk in more detail about the changes that are ahead?
Going through puberty is a lot easier when moms and daughters know what to expect. Preparing for those upcoming changes can help to ease the transition.
Gynecologist, Natasha Lowe, MD, and pediatrician, Monica Viteri-Giordano, MD, will team up for a discussion of normal puberty-related events in a relaxed, “girls only” environment that will help girls feel comfortable and make it easier for them to ask questions. The seminar includes mom-daughter activities, and refreshments will be served.
Date: Saturday, April 23
Location: Banner Ironwood Medical Center, 37000 N. Gantzel Road, San Tan Valley
RSVP: (602)-230-2273 (CARE)
