Outpatient chemotherapy treatment  

At Banner Churchill Community Hospital, we realize that being close to home and to family and friends is important for people receiving infusion treatments.

The Infusion and Oncology Center is staffed by registered nurses and pharmacists who are chemotherapy trained and specialize in IV therapy. Our staff work closely with specialists out of the area to provide the care prescribed. Our nurses keep all physicians updated in the treatment of our patients.

  • Chemotherapy
  • Blood transfusions
  • Platelet transfusions
  • Biotherapy injections, including Neupogen and Procrit
  • IV antibiotics
  • Hydration and electrolyte replacement
  • Gamma globulin therapy
  • Therapeutic phlebotomy
  • Care of long term central catheters
  • IV therapy

While medical treatments are important, other services of the Infusion and Oncology Center can aid in your wellness. We provide educational materials about cancer, treatments and ways to deal with side effects from treatment.

Nurses are available to answer questions. They can research and provide educational materials for your specific needs and direct you to resources for further information.

The Infusion and Oncology Center is open for appointments seven days a week. We take referrals from Nevada licensed providers.
