Banner Brain Health Program
Learn how lifestyle choices can minimize the risk of Alzheimer’s disease and then “flex” your cognitive muscles as you determine how to exercise your brain.

Emotional Impact of Parkinson’s disease
It is well recognized that Parkinson’s disease affects body movement; this lecture focuses on helping you better grasp the common emotional changes that occur in the person with PD. Learn how increasing empathy for both caregivers and their person can reduce frustration. Explore the significant emotional impact of PD on care partners and discover strategies to help create better balance.

BSHRI Community Lecture Series
Lecture Topic: A Journey from Participation to Engagement
“People of all ages seek meaning and purpose in their lives, and this desire for fulfillment does not stop when one has a health challenge or turns 65, 85 or 105.” (Information from ICAA) This presentation will focus on the Seven Dimensions of Wellness put forth by the International Council of Active Aging and how to create an engaging environment with your loved one with Dementia/Alzheimer’s disease.
